Paid a visit to Rob and
Ruth Smith today being Monday/12th Feb 07 up here in Coffs Harbour as promised
in previous email. He is in reasonable good spirits, but has a fair ordeal to
undergo over the next few months as you all know. Having said that though his
attitude is good in respect to what treatment awaits him, and that gents is half
the battle.
I had a cuppa and we chatted for a while and I left offering mine, and our vast
Associations support in any way whatsoever, as I know you all have done
likewise.
Also caught up with Mick Farrel - also residing up here in Coffs Harbour on the
phone tonight and we chatted for a while and I think a lunch and a few beers
will be on the agenda soon.
Further, information from Alan Price provided details on a Bob Hunter (dog
handler Milo 4RAR 68-69) has been found living near Grafton.
Alan Price states:- "He is in reasonable health, and I'm sure he would
appreciate a call from his mates from Inf Centre & 4RAR. His phone no is: 02

I have passsed this information onto Ruth Smith for Rob.
